It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, so may He be exalted above what they associate (with Him). 92
