Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant lamp and an illuminating moon -- 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty; 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
