The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
