In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
