۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
