۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
