The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
