The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin. These are verses from the Quran, a book that makes things clear; 1 A guidance and good news for the believers, 2 Who keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and of the hereafter, they are sure. 3 We have made those who do not believe in the Hereafter feel their actions appear good to them, so they wander blindly: 4 They will suffer the worst kind of torment and will be lost in the life to come. 5 And indeed you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), are taught the Qur’an from the Wise, the All Knowing. 6 Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warm yourselves. 7 So when he reached it, it was proclaimed, “Blessed is he who is in the location of the fire (Moosa) and those who are close to it (the angels); and Purity is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation.” 8 O Musa! verily it is I, Allah, the Mighty the Wise! 9 Now cast your rod!" But when he saw the rod writhing as though it were a serpent, he turned his back in retreat and did not even look behind. "O Moses, have no fear. Messengers have no fear in My presence, 10 Except those who do some wrong but afterwards do good to make up for the wrong. And I am forgiving and merciful. 11 Put your hand in the bosom of your shirt; it will come out white without any blemish. This will be one of nine tokens for the Pharaoh and his people, who are a wicked lot indeed." 12 Then when Our enlightening signs came to them, they said, “This is clear magic.” 13 and they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, wrongfully and out of pride. Behold, how was the end of the workers of corruption! 14
