O Prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the believing women to draw their veils close to them, so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 bereft of God's grace, they shall be seized wherever they may be found, and slain one and all. 61 God's wont with those who passed away before; and thou shall find no changing the wont of God. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 God has rejected those who deny the truth and prepared for them a blazing Fire. 64 Abiding therein forever, they will not find a protector or a helper. 65 On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle! 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 O Lord, give them a double punishment, and put a grievous curse upon them." 68
