Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path, 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
