The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 It shall be but one shout; and lo! they shall all be brought together before Us. 53 So this day no soul will be wronged in the least; and you will not be compensated except for your deeds. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches. 56 They shall have fruits and all that they call for. 57 (It will be said to them): Salamun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful. 58 (And He will say): 'Distance yourselves, O sinners, this Day. 59 ۞ Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil - Lo! he is your open foe! - 60 Did We not command you to worship Me and tell you that this is the straight path?" 61 Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense? 62 This is Gehenna, then, the same that you were promised; 63 Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved. 64 We shall seal their lips that day; and their hands will speak, their feet testify to what they had done. 65 And had We willed, We could have quenched their eyes so they would rush towards the path, unable to see a thing. 66 And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back. 67
