The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
