We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
