And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine]. [See the "Book of History" by Ibn Kathir]. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
