Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
