We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night.
