THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
