We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
