Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which you turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
