Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "It is great news 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
