Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
