NOW THOSE who are bent on denying the truth say [unto one another]: "Do not listen to this Qur'an, but rather talk frivolously about it, so that you might gain the upper hand!" 26 We shall make the disbelievers taste the severest punishment, and retribute them for the worst that they had done. 27 That requital of God's enemies will be the fire [of the hereafter]: in it will they have an abode of immeasurable duration as an outcome of their having knowingly rejected Our messages. 28 And the Unbelievers will say: "Our Lord! Show us those, among Jinns and men, who misled us: We shall crush them beneath our feet, so that they become the vilest (before all)." 29 Verily those who say: our Lord is Allah, and have thereafter stood fast by it, upon them there shall come down the angels: fear not, nor grieve, and rejoice in the tidings of the Garden which ye have been promised. 30 We are your friends in the present life and in the world to come; therein you shall have all that your souls desire, all that you call for, 31 As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful." 32
