Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 Food of the sinner. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
