And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60
