We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
