We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
