Seest thou one who turns back, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
