And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
