And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
