To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
