▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
