▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
