۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
