Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
