Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Say thou: it hath been revealed unto me that a company of the jinn listened, and said, verily we have listened to a Recitation wondrous. 1 It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone. 2 for [we know] that sublimely exalted is our Sustainer's majesty: no consort has He ever taken unto Himself, nor a son! 3 Certainly the foolish among us say preposterous things of God. 4 and that “we had thought that men and jinn would never speak a lie about Allah”, 5 But some men used to seek refuge with some jinns, and this increased their waywardness; 6 And indeed they supposed, even as ye suppose, that Allah would not raise anyone (from the dead) - 7 ‘And we reached the sky, so we found it strongly guarded and filled with comets.’ 8 'And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. 9 And we know not whether evil is boded for those who are on the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth for them a right direction. 10 Some of us are righteous, but some are otherwise, we are sects that differ. 11 We know that we cannot frustrate Allah in the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight. 12 When we heard the Guidance, we believed in it, and whosoever believes in his Lord shall fear neither shortage nor injustice. 13 And there are among us some who have surrendered (to Allah) and there are among us some who are unjust. And whoso hath surrendered to Allah, such have taken the right path purposefully. 14 but those who deviated from the Truth, will be the fuel for Hell.” 15 If they (non-Muslims) had believed in Allah, and went on the Right Way (i.e. Islam) We should surely have bestowed on them water (rain) in abundance. 16 as a trial for them. God will make those who disregard the guidance from their Lord suffer increasing torment. 17 "And the places of worship are for Allah (alone): So invoke not any one along with Allah; 18 When the worshiper of Allah stood supplicating to Him, they swarmed around him (Prophet Muhammad). 19
