Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 and the severally severing 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
