The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Concerning what are they disputing? 1 About the great event, 2 Concerning which they differ. 3 Nay! they shall soon come to know 4 Nay, again, they will come to know! 5 Have We not made the earth as a bed, 6 And the mountains as pegs? 7 And We created you in pairs, 8 And made your sleep a rest. 9 And have made the night as a covering (through its darkness), 10 and the day as time for you to make a living? 11 And We made above you seven strong ones, 12 (the sun) as a shining torch 13 And We sent down rain from water-laden clouds pouring in torrents 14 So that We bring forth thereby corn and vegetation. 15 And gardens thick with trees. 16 The Day of Judgment will certainly be the final appointment. 17 The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, and you shall come forth in crowds (groups); 18 The heavens will be opened wide and turn into so many doors, 19 And the mountains will be moved they will therefore become like mirages. 20 Hell will lie in wait (for its prey). 21 For the exorbitant a receptacle. 22 for the rebellious ones and they will live therein for ages. 23 Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink. 24 Save scalding water and corruption. 25 a fitting requital, 26 Indeed they had no fear of the account. 27 And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial. 28 And everything have We recorded in a Book. 29 (They will be told), "Suffer, We shall only increase the torment for you". 30

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
