By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 And who glide with ease. 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by the managers (angels) affair. 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 And the second followeth it, 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 [And yet,] some say: "What! Are we indeed to be restored to our former state 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 'Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent. 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned away, deliberating, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 Saying: "I am your lord, most high", 24 So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
