What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
