He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 although thou art not accountable for his failure to attain to purity; 7 But as for him who cometh unto thee with earnest purpose 8 and fearfully, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 (and whoso wills, shall remember it) 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 exalted, purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). 22 Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 We make the grain grow out of it, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 And olives and palms 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 all this as a provision for you and your cattle. 32 And when the Blast shall sound, 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 wife and sons, 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 On that day faces will be bright as dawn, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 but others will be gloomy 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
اقرأ القرآن الكريم كله ملونا بالكامل، حيث تولد ألوان وأشكال الصفحات بشكل عشوائي تماما بحيث لا يتكرر التركيب نفسه مرتين.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
