Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
