Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble scribes 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
