Al-Burooj
The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
