The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 by a burning fire 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
