Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
