Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
