Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
