The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
