Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
