They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 Then leave it a plain, smooth level 106 Wherein thou shalt not see any crookedness or ruggedness. 107 On that day they will follow their caller without deviation. Their voices will be low in the presence of the Beneficent God. You will hear nothing but the tread of the marching feet. 108 On that day no intercession availeth save (that of) him unto whom the Beneficent hath given leave and whose word He accepteth. 109 [for] He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden from them, whereas they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge. 110 ۞ All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed; 111 And whoever does good works and he is a believer, he shall have no fear of injustice nor of the withholding of his due. 112 Thus we have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic, and have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed. 113 Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. 114 And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. 115
